Ten Top Award-Winners

SnagFilms has over 200 films that won or were nominated for major awards. As we head into the Oscars, the site has picked 10 special films from this group.

I’m honored that "Nanking" is one of them.  Each film is truly unique – I’ll look at some of the others in the days ahead, but today want to point to "Breathing Lessons" an Oscar-winner from 2002 that inspired the current hit movie "The Sessions" (Helen Hunt is up for her own statue as Actress in a Supporting Role for that one).

"Breathing Lessons" is particularly interesting to watch on the heels of Valentine’s Day. Check it out and see a hero who never accepted the standard definition of “disabled”.
