"Scoreboard Doesn't Tell the Story"

The Caps were beaten 6-3 yesterday by the Penguins.

That is basically all you need to know. We didn't gain any standing points, which we need. We have now played nine games in a 48 game season. We sit three points out of the 8th spot - with 39 games to play. We are ranked 15th out of 15 teams in the East.

This story on ESPN.com provides little solace to us or our fans. While I agree with the analysis, we do need to be more productive, gain wins, and take advantage of home ice.

Here are a bunch of links (here, here, here and here) about the game with photos and videos. Onward to Tuesday's game against the Maple Leafs at home.
