The Capitals are making progress in implementing a new system. We are playing well five on five and our power play is really gelling. Our goal tending is also much improved. We are now 5-2 in our last seven games and we are two games back of the division lead, with 30 games left to play.

Last night's shutout win over Carolina was a good one. There were times during the game that we looked like a really dominant team, as the players were moving in coordinated five-man formations, and being very aggressive and tough on the forecheck.

We play again tonight in Philadelphia - wish us well. Lots of video, photos and words from the game here, here and here. Go Caps!
