And Speaking of Stars

Alex Ovechkin had a hat trick last night in the Caps' 4-3 win over the Panthers.

It was his second hat trick this season.

He has now scored 23 goals and is tied for second place for goals scored in the NHL now.

He leads the NHL in power play goals and he is ranked seventh in points tallied in the NHL.

More importantly, the Caps kept their lead in the SE Division at 40 points, with two games in hand on the Jets. We burn off one of those games tonight against the Lightning, so it is a big game in front of our fans.

Here is a bunch of stuff to ponder from around the web here, here and here. Strangely, Mike Milbury is not quoted anywhere within. Go Caps!
