Two Goal Leads Disappear Two Times in Two Games

Got that?

We have had a chance to gain 4 standings points in the last 2 home games; but  alas - we ended up with just one point via an OT loss against the Devils.

In  each game - we had a 2 goal lead, but couldn't hang on. We seem to play better and more determined hockey when we face a deficit and have to come from behind.

Last night's game was a disappointment on many levels and we suffered a bit of unfortunate luck with the Ovechkin shot hitting the cross bar and not trickling in past the Duck's goal tender.

We move on post the holiday break to play the NY Rangers at home on Friday. Read about the game and other matters here, here,  here, and here.
